So, dear readers, this is just a quick post to share with you the beauty I experienced today on my trip to the Canberra Botanical Gardens. Spring pretty much arrived right on cue here in Canberra and the minute the clock ticked over to 1st September the blossom trees exploded overnight into bloom, the jonquils and daffodils put on a resplendent show and the the irises started peeking out of their buds. My husband and I decided to take a trip to the botanical gardens today as the weather has been simply stunning. I think he was fed up with me after about four minutes as we had literally moved about four metres in those four minutes thanks to me going snap-happy with the camera. I have no idea what any of these flowers are called except, perhaps, the wattle and I bloody well should know what that one is as it is our national floral emblem (or something like that). So, please. enjoy!
